Forward from Envu CEO

With the right ideas and technology, we can face the future’s toughest challenges of our time and shape a future where both people and nature thrive. We can help protect public health, green spaces and our food supply. These are lofty goals made possible through collaboration with our partners and the continued trust and support of our stakeholders, whom we thank for holding us accountable to our commitments.

I believe sustainability encompasses four aspects. First, responsible stewardship—ensuring our products deliver benefits while minimizing potential risks. Second, respect for people across the entire value chain. Third, the protection and preservation of our environment. And finally, operational excellence, which is fundamental to driving performance and earning the trust of those we serve.

Since we became a stand-alone company in October of 2022, we have laid out our aspirations and ambitions to make a meaningful, sustainable impact on society and nature including through our products and services. Today, through our annual sustainability reports, we’re sharing progress, defining our future direction, and committing to the important work still ahead. Because together, we can be a force with nature—and we’re just getting started.

Chief Sustainability Officer

“Envu is a truly distinctive company, both in its culture and the mission it pursues. We collaborate closely with our partners and stakeholders to pursue shared objectives outlined in our double materiality matrix, remaining steadfast in our commitment to driving sustainable impact.

These past years, we’ve worked to strengthen the connection between our corporate strategy and sustainability goals. We rolled out key initiatives to integrate sustainability more deeply into our business, such as our Sustainable Procurement Program, decarbonization targets aligned with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and our Portfolio Sustainability Assessment. We also advanced our support for priority UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) aligned with our mission — efforts like preventing the spread of invasive species and protecting communities from malaria while continuing to address our broader environmental and social responsibilities. This year, we’re proud to celebrate milestones that reflect our collective progress, including receiving an EcoVadis Gold rating and being recognized as a Great Place To Work® — clear acknowledgments of our team’s dedication to the sustainability journey.

What sustainability means to senior leadership

Troy Randolph, CFO

“A focus on sustainability has required an evolution of the approach of our company’s finance team, driving analysis around sustainability and starting to measure profit alongside ESG KPIs. At the heart of our purpose is a focus on operating with a high level of ethics and compliance while we manage risks and work to drive the sustainable performance of the company. We have worked to incorporate sustainability into the valuation model of how we look at investments and believe that it is a key factor in how we should calculate our returns.”

Bernard Jacqmin SVP, Head of Innovation and Regulatory Affairs

"Envu Global Innovation is driven by our core purpose of creating healthy environments for people around the world. We take the necessary steps to ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of our products. We are equally committed to developing cutting-edge chemical, biological and digital technologies that foster sustainability, offering solutions that are both user-friendly and environmentally conscious. I am particularly enthused about our initiatives aimed at restoring biodiversity, such as our projects in U.S. rangelands and pastures, Brazil’s native forests, and our progress in pioneering alternative solutions to combat mosquito-borne diseases like malaria and dengue.”
