Envu partners with United to Beat Malaria and MENTOR to protect conflict-affected Nigerians from malaria

Envu partnered with United to Beat Malaria and the MENTOR Initiative to launch indoor residual spraying (IRS) campaigns in internally displaced persons (IDP) camps and host communities in Borno State, Nigeria, ahead of peak malaria season. Envu donated Fludora® Fusion, a dual-action insecticide effective against even pyrethroid-resistant mosquitoes, providing up to one year of protection. The 2021– 2022 campaigns protected over 145,000 homes and 869,767 people. An epidemiological study by MENTOR showed malaria rates in Monguno district dropped by over 57% during the 2021 peak season, marking a major step toward the goal of protecting over 1 million Nigerians from malaria in 2021 - 2023.
