Ronan Stephens is Chief Supply Chain Officer for Envu, with responsibility for global supply chain strategy and execution across planning, procurement, manufacturing supply and distribution. In this role, he helps shape the long-term direction for Product Supply and Procurement, while leading efforts to strengthen supply reliability, improve operational discipline, and scale supply chain capabilities to support customer demand and enterprise growth
Ronan brings more than three decades of global operations and supply chain leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, consumer health, chemical, industrial and technology-driven organizations. He began his career in manufacturing-based IT and systems engineering before moving into supply chain operations and progressing into increasingly senior global leadership roles.
Prior to joining Envu, Ronan served as Chief Operations Officer at Cooper Consumer Health, a private equity portfolio company, where he led Manufacturing, Supply, Procurement and IT with end-to-end operational accountability.
Before that, Ronan spent more than eight years at Ipsen as SVP, Global Supply Chain & External Manufacturing Operations, where he led global operations during a period of approximately threefold revenue growth. In this role, he established global supply chain processes and governance and built an externalized manufacturing network to support scale and resilience. In 2020, Ipsen’s Supply Chain was a finalist in Gartner’s Supply Chain Awards.
Ronan also served as an independent advisor to Kinaxis Inc, a global leading provider of SAAS based Supply Chain solutions.
Earlier in his career, Ronan held senior regional and global supply chain and operations leadership roles at Arysta LifeScience, Lexmark International, Novartis and Honeywell, building deep expertise across manufacturing, planning and enterprise supply chain systems.
Ronan holds an Executive Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from HEC Paris, a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science from the Institute of Technology in Ireland, and a BA in Politics and Social Science from the National University of Ireland Galway. He is also certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) through the Association for Operations Management (APICS.
