Marine Sanouiller is Chief Sustainability Officer of Envu. A sustainability and marketing leader with more than 15 years of international experience, she has built her career at the intersection of commercial strategy, customer partnership, and environmental and social value creation.

Marine began her career in marketing and sales roles across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, including positions at Limagrain, Liphatech and Bayer Crop Science. She later became Head of Marketing EMEA and ESG champion for the Environmental Science division of Bayer, where she guided brand transformation, digital innovation, and customer co-creation initiatives across diverse markets. When that division was carved out to become Envu in late 2022, Marine remained in a senior leadership role and, in September 2023, was appointed Chief Sustainability Officer—formalizing a transition from marketing to sustainability driven by purpose and conviction. She further deepened her sustainability expertise through Yale’s ESG program. Since assuming the CSO role, Marine has led the development and implementation of the Envu global sustainability roadmap, embedding sustainability into company strategy, governance and decision-making.

Under her leadership, Envu has achieved several notable milestones and a prestigious EcoVadis Gold rating, placing the company among the top 5% of global organizations assessed for sustainability performance. Envu has strengthened ESG governance and stakeholder confidence with achievements such as CDP B rating, a Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)–aligned decarbonization pathway across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and ESG integration into enterprise risk management and M&A processes.

Marine also champions transparency and accountability at Envu, contributing to the company’s expanded sustainability reporting across GRI, UN SDG standards and its decision to join the United Nations Global Compact, reinforcing its pledge to uphold principles of human rights, labor, environment, and compliance practices.

Marine believes companies can be a force for good. Her leadership blends vision with execution—shaping a future where economic growth, environmental health, and social value reinforce one another. She emphasizes dialogue with stakeholders, disciplined governance, strong data foundations, and harnessing the collective energy of people across the organization to drive progress over perfection.
