Laura Jacob is Chief People, Culture & Communications Officer at Envu, the first global innovation company of its size dedicated entirely to environmental science. With a background in psychology and more than a decade of experience in management consulting and transformation leadership, Laura leads the company’s global people strategy, culture evolution and corporate communications, with a strong focus on employee experience, empowerment and organizational effectiveness
Laura began her career in management consulting, specializing in organizational development, change management, and learning. She spent nine years at EY in Germany, ultimately serving as a Partner, where she led change management, culture transformation, and learning initiatives for major transformation projects across multiple industries. In this role, she advised large, complex organizations on navigating significant change, with a consistent emphasis on people, leadership, and sustainable impact.
Before joining Envu, Laura served as an external change-management advisor to Bayer Environmental Science, the business that was later carved out to form Envu, supporting the organization through its divestment journey. She joined the company in 2021, drawn by the opportunity to help shape a new, independent organization with a strong purpose and a more agile way of working. When Envu was established as a standalone company in 2022, Laura assumed her current global role.
At Envu, Laura has played a central role in guiding the organization through its transition from Bayer, helping to define and embed cultural traits, strengthen the employer brand, and align internal culture with external positioning. Her work focuses on enabling effective organizational performance by ensuring the right skills and capabilities, fit-for-purpose operating models, and a culture that supports execution and long-term value creation. She drives integrated people solutions, operations, and services with a strong emphasis on engagement and experience, while shaping clear, purposeful communication that aligns and inspires internal and external stakeholders. Her approach strengthens leadership effectiveness, simplifies ways of working, and fosters an inclusive, high-trust culture that sustains results. Based in Germany, Laura brings a global mindset and a deep belief that when people thrive, organizations—and the communities they serve—thrive as well.
