Lars Oestergaard is Chief Financial Officer of Envu, overseeing global finance, legal, and compliance functions. He brings more than three decades of international experience in finance, accounting, and business leadership, with a career spanning Europe, North America, and Latin America.
Lars began his career with PwC in the United Kingdom before taking on business process and business development roles in Venezuela and Brazil. He later joined Danzas in Switzerland as a financial planning and analysis manager, subsequently working across Danzas and DHL as the businesses integrated under Deutsche Post.
In 2004, Lars joined Syngenta, where he spent more than two decades in positions of increasing responsibility. His roles spanned global controlling, commercial finance, strategy and planning, and investor relations. He went on to hold senior finance and finance operations leadership roles across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas. Most recently, he served as Head of Finance for North America Crop Protection, based in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Across these roles, Lars has developed high-performing teams, strengthened stakeholder trust, and engaged with capital markets through investor relations. His background combines financial leadership with an understanding of commercial priorities and the complexities of operating across markets.
At Envu, Lars leads financial operations, planning, and risk management to support sustainable growth and long-term value creation. He works with colleagues across the company to build on its financial foundation and advance its ambitions in environmental science.
